The lull after the holidays can be quite depressing.  Seriously.  What is there to look forward to in January?

There's snow.  And ice.   And more snow.

If you're lucky you get a snow day (if you're a teacher or a student).  I'm not that lucky.

My family is just getting over the stomach flu.  It first hit my daughter.  She threw up 13 times... poor little thing.  First time she's ever thrown up and she didn't know WHAT was going on.

Two days later I got it.  Gross.  It's been a long time since I've been sick like that.

You feel like opening up all the windows and freezing those little bugs right outta the house!  But that's not really good for the heat bill, is it?  I've resorted to cleaning and disinfecting everything.  A "pre-Spring cleaning" if you will!  Makes me feel good and makes everything smell good, too. :)

I've also been busy making lots of necklaces for people I know and people I don't!  I've added some new things like birthstones and new shapes (washers, squares, angel wings).  All sorts of new and fun things are coming down the pike!  Maybe even bracelets?  I'm thinking about it. :)  Some neat ideas are forming... stay tuned!

ALSO... I'm thinking of using a new "format" for my pictures.  Tell me what you think!

3 1/2 years ago while on our honeymoon in Mexico, we met a neat couple from Vancouver.  We still keep in contact and love the updates we get to hear about their family.  

Speaking of...  they recently had the most adorable twin boys!  HOW FUN!

Here's the necklace made especially for the mama so she can always keep her boys close to her heart!
